Yesterday morning when I switched on my OLA S1 the dial display is shown blank.Its a less than a month old scooter. I was wondering and little bit of panic also.Tried several times to get it activated but unsuccessful. Immediately called up emergency contact no @ 6.10am.
The service advisor guided me the step by step to reactive ghd system and finally its successful. Big relief. But till now not having any idea about the cause of this problem.
I also faced same situation couple of times… After retrying for 5-10 mins was able to switch on… I am also looking for the reason and permanent fix for the issue.
Same issue happened to me. I recommend ola team should give priority and close this issue
Same happened with me too. However, the scooter turns on via App unlock without a glitch!

Mine is 6 months old and nearing 5K kilometres, I too faced same issue for first time yesterday. After several attempts I could restart the scooter then it’s became ok.
Display restart will fix most of these issues. If phone got hanged, we restart mobile, same is applicable for ola scooter also. Press and hold power + reverse button simultaneously for 10-15seconds, to restart your display. This will fix

In such cases simply reboot your scooter by pressing power & Reverse button both for 10 seconds and it will be fine again after few min
