The month of August is synonymous with freedom for every Indian. As the nation geared towards celebrating 75 years of independence, the S1 community went on 75-km freedom rides as a statement towards bringing a different kind of freedom, a freedom from petrol.
It all started on the 7th of August when over 20 daring riders from the S1 community in Gujarat went on a 75km ride from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar and back on their Ola S1 Pro scooters, making waves all across India. Fellow revolutionaries in Salem, Jaipur, Chennai, Nagpur, Gurgaon & more went on their own freedom rides and were rewarded with exclusive Freedom rider T-shirts for their participation.
This nationwide celebration reached its finale on Independence Day, when over 40 riders came together and rode all the way from UB City to Koramangala, ending at our very own Ola campus in Bangalore, where we showcased our vision for the future of Mission Electric.
