Highlights | #EndICEAge - Part 1

August 15th was an important milestone for us at Ola Electric as we celebrated India’s Independence Day and our annual Customer Day at the Future Factory. I am so happy and filled with pride to have unveiled our firm vision and commitment towards ushering India’s leadership in global automotive electrification.

Over the last couple of years, we have made significant progress in our mission to #EndICEAge with a host of future products and technology launches. As we reflect upon our journey, we are overwhelmed with the love and support shown to us by 40,000+ Ola community members, some of who celebrated with us at the FutureFactory and others in our 1000+ experience centres across 600+ cities. Also, more than 500,000 people watched our event live across the world and we got 45 million plus impressions of our message in 24 hours making it one of the most successful launch events ever.

Your belief in our vision and dedication to our shared goals has been a huge support in Ola’s journey so far. With the new range of scooters launched yesterday, I firmly believe that customers will now have no reason to buy an ICE product.

Here are some of the highlights of the event:

  1. We expanded our scooter portfolio to 5 products. The next generation S1 pro, S1 Air, and the ICE killer range with 3 variants (S1X+, S1X - 3, and 2 KWh). With the S1X, every Indian customer can now save upto Rs. 30000 a year!
  2. We introduced our next-generation engineering platform (Gen 2) which allows us to significantly lower costs and improve performance
  3. We announced the most awaited MoveOS 4, the next generation of our software platform
  4. We added 100 new service centres to our existing service network of 300+ in one single day
  5. For the first time in the world, we streamed our event live in 6 languages using AI
  6. We demonstrated our cutting-edge work on cell which will be the next leap in EV technologies
