My Ola Story

#MyOlaStory
I took my Ola S1 Pro from Manali to Una, the highest motorable road in the country and that too on the 75th year of independence. It’s been 17 months, but I can recall every minute of it like it was yesterday.

I had only just bought my S1 Pro when I made this trip, so I wondered if a scooter this size would be able to cope with all that I had in my plan. There was rain, snow, and rocky roads. Sometimes even no roads! But surprise surprise! I ran out of energy at one point, but the S1 Pro was still ready to go.

Not to mention the people I rode along. The Ola community. These guys are my second family today. I mean, the bonds you form on such long rides, go a long way, don’t they?

Some of us get together every other weekend even now and just take off with our S1. Most of our plans are spontaneous, which is the best part. Just stuff all your things in the boot space, put it on cruise control and enjoy the wind in your face. Bliss!

To be honest, switching over from a petrol scooter to the S1 Pro was easily one of the best decisions of my life. I have ridden somewhere close to 25,000 km. And I have saved money, done my bit towards the planet, all while making the most beautiful memories. The S1 Pro has been my travel buddy, my personal DJ, my tour guide, everything. No wonder I have named it My World.
