Set out on a venture to the Ola Future Factory, brimming with excitement to witness the 400,000th Ola scooter emerge from the assembly line. Joined by three companions from Kerala – Husbin, Sabeel, and Ananthakrishnan – we reached Bangalore on Wednesday, perfectly timed for the eagerly anticipated event. Our exploration began at 7:15 am as we stepped onto the Ola campus, where MR PREM, the captain of our Himalayan expedition with the Indian Army, greeted us warmly.
The thrill heightened as I reunited with my fellow Himalayan rider, Mr. Gaurav Patel, who had journeyed all the way from Gujarat for this special occasion. Despite being my third visit to the Future Factory, the excitement was palpable. Breakfast at Murugan Idly set the tone for the day. The bus ride proved delightful, providing an opportunity to connect with riders from diverse corners of the country namely praveenji , gaurav, sahil,grv patel,rishabh,and nishanth jain
By 11:45 am, we reached the factory and delved into the heart of Ola’s manufacturing process. In the company, we met friends from OLA Mr Nishanth Iyenger photographer buddy Sachin, shubangi and
chandan .we explored the production line, witnessing the creation of new scooters, from motor and battery assembly to the final unveiling of the 400,000th scooter. Photo sessions with the scooter, staff, and fellow customers added to the joyous memories.Also met Dr karthik, and discussed about our profession.
A highlight of the day was the meeting with the Head of Production, Mr. Ramesh where he explained the quality checks involved in the production. The factory visit concluded with a delectable meal from the employee canteen, enhancing the overall awe-inspiring experience. With the visit etched in our minds, we headed directly to the airport and found ourselves back home by 3 am on Friday.
