Navigating the Community Forum

Before you post

1. Kindly post in English on the forum to maintain readability and understandability for all users.
2. Please be respectful to the community and refrain from being inappropriate, offensive or rude.
3. Admins have the right to delete/block your post/comment/account if you post anything that doesn’t adhere to the community standards.
4. Please don’t spam or self-promote your business/post personal content. This space should only be used to share content related to Ola Electric.
5. Please search before posting and refrain from posting questions that have already been answered before.

How to use the app

1. The landing page is the first page that you will see when you’ve logged into the app.

2. Topics

• On the landing page, you’ll be able to create and view various topics on the category grid.
• To create a topic:
  • Tap on the icon and select New Topic.
  • Add a Title and content.
  • Upload an image / video if required.
  • Select the “Ask The Community” category to start a discussion.
  • Click on Create.
• Here are the types of content that are available:
  • Posts: You can start a discussion by making a post from your account which can be liked and
    commented on by your fellow community members. You can also attach media files to posts in the form of images, gifs or videos.
  • Events: Admins can schedule an activity for a particular date(s), location and time and you can
    RSVP for the same.
  • Polls: Admins can interact with users by asking questions with multiple options. You can then give anonymous responses to the same.
  • Likes and comments: If you like something that a fellow community member has uploaded, you can tap on the icon to like it. You can also add to the conversation by sharing your thoughts in the comment section.

3. Notifications / Activity

   • Tap on the to get a consolidated view of how the community
     interacts with you in this section.

4. Profile section

   • Tap on the to change your profile details such as display picture, username and other preferences.
