Know more about the Community Forum

Here’s how you can access our Community’s dedicated notice board , i.e. the Community Forum.

1. Tap the rider icon at the bottom right corner of your Ola Electric App homescreen. Select Community Forum on the next page.

  1. There are several Categories in the Community Forum. Two of the most useful Categories for you to know about are ‘Announcements’ and ‘Ask the Community’. In Announcements, we post the most important updates on offers/ referrals / Accessories / new product launches / events/ collaborations etc. Ask the Community is where you can post a question or comment for the rest of the Community to answer. Select ‘Ask the Community’ in Step 3 below and use the ‘+’ icon to post.

  1. Currently, the Community Forum is moderated in order to channel and manage the conversations for relevance and clarity . It will take a few hours for an Admin to approve your post, after which it will be published.

We would love feedback from you on what kind of topics we should post about more. Feel free to contribute your own content - it could be your stories , photos of your riding excursions, feedback, questions around tech etc. We’ll get our experts to answer your questions !

Lock/Unlock issues, Trunk open issues, Bluetooth connection issues, data discrepancy in app and widgets for e.g. scooter is locked and safe but widgets says Unlocked and ready.
Design issues with app whenever scooter is locked the app gets disconnected (bluetooth), after locking scooter user will not stay near scooter hence app shows scooter is locked but widget says unlocked only updates when we are near scooter’s bluetooth range.

The data discrepancy happens when we are charging scooter the widget will not update but app will update Charging status.

All above issues are reported to ola support email with app recording till date none of the issues are resolved.

In return we gets false reply from OLA support that please update app, or cloud/web server issues, false call that we are not reachable.

Community forum or ola support is of no use till users issue is not resolved.
