Ola Future Factory - Futuristic World

Future Factory – What does one think initially with these 2 words? Something very futuristic, yeah and that is what Ola Future Factory is all about. Humongous and world’s largest 2 Wheeler EV manufacturing unit

So where did it all start from? A contest and yeah just a contest. Win the contest and get a full sponsored trip to the Ola Future Factory.

Winning the contest, I was contacted by Ola and tickets and accommodation in Bangalore was booked the same day. Travelled to Bangalore on 20th Dec, overnight stay at hotel in Bangalore (very near Ola Campus). Was able to meet a couple of other contest winners as arrival time for all was different considering every one was travelling from different city, and the day ended there.

The exciting part came the next day (21st Dec), which started with pickup from Hotel to Ola Campus and then after registration at Ola Campus, we travelled to Ola Future Factory with breakfast in between. As we reached there, we actually got to see the huge factory which we have only imagined till now. Greeted with snacks and tea/coffee we were given a factory tour with details of each and every part manufacturing and technology being used. The factory was so huge that just a single round as part of the tour took a lot of time. Saw the robots working for battery assembling, and even taking parts from one part of the factory to another. It turned out to be a whole new futuristic world. Even though photography is not allowed inside the Future Factory, we were given special permission to take pictures and videos, which was a really nice gesture on Ola’s part

After the tour we had a chance to witness rollout of 400K Ola from the factory followed by Ola T-Shirt. Later we had lunch at their internal facility like all other Ola employees have. The day ended on this note and we got a drop to Bangalore Airport for our flight back to home.

Thanks to Ola for this opportunity and thanks to Ola team for managing the whole trip flawlessly.
